Ufone Launches Free 3G Service Trial in Karachi

Mobilink launched 3G USB plug and play dongle for high speed 3G internet. The device is named as “SpeedNet” and it comes with free trial for 3G services and offers high speed internet reaching up to 7.2 Mbps. Speednet USBs is currently priced at PKR 2,500 with data plan but users use this device free in  during the trial duration. The USB dongles (SpeedNet) are compatible with USB supported laptops and desktops of all brands. The device is plug and play and comes with packaged software for installation. Currently available at Mobilink Customer Care Centers in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Multan

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has said that it will allow Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE in the country after getting satisfied with company’s Quality of Service KPIs for 4G network.

Mobilink has started 3G trials in Karachi, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar. Mobilink is also testing 3G service in limited parts of Rawalpindi / Islamabad and Lahore as well.
